Digital Marketing Manager

About You:
You’re entrepreneurial, creative, and analytical. You get excited about building something special together with an A+ team. This is a new position at wool&, so you’ll get to set the priorities. You thrive with autonomy and you’re a self starter who likes to problem solve.
What you’ll do:
-Help set overall marketing priorities and marketing calendar
-Develop and execute marketing programs across a variety of paid channels including Facebook, Instagram, Google, Pinterest, and TikTok
-Drive customer acquisition and retention, owning the strategy, execution, and internal reporting
-Identify and vet new channels, vendors, and technology solutions to drive business results
-Help manage direct mail catalog strategy and reporting in partnership with external agency
-Own marketing KPIs

Qualifications:

About You:
wool& is looking for an individual with at least two years experience in eCommerce fulfillment, logistics, retail, or service related job. As the warehouse associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as refurbishing (inspecting returned items and prepping them to be resold if they pass our quality threshold), picking, packing, receiving, organizing, and cleaning. This is an independent position with minimal oversight in a small organization. You will not be sitting in an office.
You're hungry for new experiences, enjoy learning on the fly, and you can make an impact right away. You are detail oriented, creative, and an initiative-taker. You're a a team player who passes the airport test.About Our Warehouse
We have a 7,200 sq ft space near the Portland airport with a crew of five people.
Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:
-Process returns and exchanges in the refurbishing department
-Identify and implement opportunities for efficiencies in our refurbishing department
-Communicate refurbishing needs with the warehouse team and the operations team
-Deliver the right product in the right packaging to the right customer with the right shipping method
-Manage shipping costs
-Inbounding: shelve the product away properly
-Inventory management: Maintain correct inventory and conduct regular inventory counts on low stock items
-Willing to put in longer hours around the holiday season
-Maintain IT systems, specifically printers and computers
-Resolve customer service issues or product information requests as needed by our Customer Experience department
-Investigate customer complaints involving such matters as damaged product, picking, packing, etc. Make adjustments as necessary to insure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:

Wear TesterDescription:
Help bring our product to life by being a Wear Tester for men’s and women’s merino wool lifestyle apparel. We are always on the lookout for people to try on our product so our team can gather valuable fit information from real people like you.
This posting is to collect names and sizes of potential wear testers in the Portland, OR area. Please review the below expectations and submit your info if interested. We will contact anyone that fits our needs later on.
Expectations:
-Must have availability weekdays between 9-6pm and live in the Portland, OR surrounding area.
-If selected, during the initial 15 minute "go-see" we will take your measurements and have you try on a couple items. This portion is unpaid.
-If we do a full fitting, rates are $30 for the first half hour, additional $15 each 15 minutes over.
-Fittings usually range from 30-60 minutes in our SE Portland office with our Designer and Tech Designer. Our office is stocked with an air purifier and hand sanitizer and all participants will be wearing masks.
-During Fit sessions, we are looking for honest feedback on how the garments fit and feel on the body. We ask questions, but also expect you to tell us if something feels weird, so some garment knowledge is helpful.
-Occasional take-home wear testing may be involved.
-Fittings would happen a few times per year.

About the Position:
This role will involve directing our Design and Development team to deliver high quality product consistent with our delivery schedule. They will manage the product development calendar and direct projects for a team of 3 (designer, tech designer, and developer). Their role will collaborate cross-functionally to help grow our business efficiently, improving the quality of our products while also expanding our assortment and vendor partners.

-Track and manage all product development according to T&A calendar for a collection of 150 styles for men’s, women’s, kid’s and baby apparel.
-Lead daily communication with internal and external partners to achieve timely development goals.
-Be a fit expert to drive exceptional fit consistency. Identify potential construction, grading, and fit issues and make recommendations to ensure brand integrity, including development of Knit and Woven blocks.
-Vet and onboard new mills and factories. Travel to factories to assess quality and production hurdles. Identify and solve problems with an open-minded, hands-on approach.
-Lead, coach, and clear obstacles for all team members, providing tools and support to help them reach success. Oversee department processes: identify and implement solutions to potential bottlenecks.
-Build strong and synergistic relationships with cross-functional partners, including Design, Product Development, Technical Design, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
-Collaborate with Design and Merch to assort product line.
-Oversee QA manual development and updates, in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
-Assist in establishing our in-house warehouse QC process.
Qualifications:
-Bachelors or Associates Degree in Apparel Design or related field
10+ years of relevant Apparel experience. Minimum 3 years leadership experience with leading people, projects, and/or large-scale initiatives.
-Proficient in any PLM software, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Excel, and Google Suite
-Must have technical knowledge of fit and apparel construction techniques in cut and sew knits and wovens, ideally with Men’s, Misses and Plus Sizes (Kids/Baby/Accessories is a plus)
-Experience traveling to factories is required
-Expert technical knowledge of textiles, pattern alterations, blocks, and grading is a plus
-You are a people person and team player, able to contribute positively to team dynamic, cultivate passion and productivity with a genuine interest in connecting and leading others.
-Detail orientated, highly motivated self-starter with the ability to think strategically and problem solve creatively.
-Able to prioritize workload and make decisions efficiently under pressure.
